In a packaging area in a larger food company, periods of a higher number of total germs are measured than desired. The company wants to prevent these fluctuations in total germs and reduce total germs in general.
The company has ordinary work lights (LED lights) in the area, and gets ANTIBAC LED lights installed in its existing lighting installations. ANTIBAC LED light works like normal light and can be used anywhere with human activity, but has a wide range of advantages over ordinary light, as it improves surface hygiene and keeps the growth of bacteria, viruses, mould and yeast down.
The company’s measurements show that by switching ordinary light to ANTIBAC LED tubes in existing lighting installations, it can achieve up to 1 log reduction in the number of total germs. This reduces both the number of total germs and periodic fluctuations.
